Egret
I've been to some good ones... and some really awful ones. Beastie Boys 2x Pearl Jam 3x Liz Phair 311 Cypress Hill Pharcyde L7 They Might Be Giants Sinead O'Connor ...actually, she looked more like this: Verve Pipe Hammer w/ Jodeci George Clinton David Bowie Beach Boys Van Halen (Sammy, not Dave) Ben Folds in a few weeks I know I'm forgetting a few. I don't like seeing bands in huge stadiums, so I've missed out on a few. I went to a few festival type concerts, but I never really made it to the stage to hear the bands. aqualung
Humble Pie Black Sabbath Rod Stewart (pre Disco) James Gang Neil Young Crosby, Stills and Nash Linda Ronstadt Jethro Tull NRPS Rolling Stones The Who The Guess Who Three Dog Night Poco Harum Steppenwolf I know there are many more but in those days it was so easy to forget where you were. Edit to add I went to Jamboree in the Hills three years in a row when I had a country western phase. About 20 good artist per year. To many to name. Guest THEbigred
(every band ever - snipped) Man, there are so many more. 1342726 I don't see how. Interesting mix though. Off the top of my head: Steely Dan Atl Rhythm Section Peter Frampton SRV REO Boston Little River Band Linda Ronstadt Eric Johnson Pat Metheny Ronnie Laws Hiroshima Weather Report Spyrogyra Chuck Mangione America James Taylor Daryl Hall Huey Lewis Little Feat (post-LG version) Charlie Daniels Tears for Fears Stanley Jordan Larry Carlton Sarah Vaughn Elvis Costello Red Hot Chili Peppers :run for life: Yes (minus Rabin) Also "technically" saw these guys - I say that because most of the orig members weren't there, so it was a shell of the actual band and not sure I'd consider it to count: Guess Who Marshall Tucker Temptations Edited February 27, 2006 by THEbigred

Ziachild007
NSYNC 1342700 I dont feel quite so bad about New Kids on the Block. In my defense, my sisters went and my dad made me go with them. Other than them and Kid Rock, most of the concerts I have seen have been in small venues. A few are Texas country singers, most of you have probably never heard of, though. Randall
Anyone see Rasaan Roland Kirk? Excllent performer and he used to play in a jazz club in Milwaukee to a sparse audience and you could get up real close. Anyone see such performers before they were stars? I saw him around '72 or '73. He was at a small club with a 20-50 person audience. Very few people ever saw him there. A real shame he didn't get more respect.
