jaxfactor
Ok, going way back here. Distinct voice, unmatched by any: Burton Cummings of The Guess Who And by the way, Axyl Rose makes me want to vomit uncontollably. Ruined a Bob Dylan classic in Knockin' On Heaven's Door. What about Live and Let Dieyyaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiyaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiii.

Chavez
What we seem to forget, here at the Huddle, is that music, like art, is a matter of opinion. And seldom do Huddler's have the same opinion.... on anything. As long as everyone agrees that my opinion is the correct one, we got no problems. piratesownninjas
Mike Patton for having the most diverse voice I've ever heard. Kevin Max for having the best vibrato I've ever heard.
piratesownninjas
Just been listening to Lemmy's mighty bass work today, pre-Motorhead. Excellent. His tone makes me sick... It might be the most abrasive bass tone I've ever heard... Saying that, I still love everything he's done.

bushwacked
Mike Patton for having the most diverse voice I've ever heard. I don't know if I consider Mike Patton a great front man, but he is one of the most underrated rock musicians in recent American pop culture. Hes got great range. Angeldust was one of my all time favorite albums. Some of his best stuff is some of his most unknown. Lovage is one of the best Trip Hop albums of all time. SheikYerbuti
Just a little bumpage on this thread. . . Today my iPod graced me with Mr. Bungle's "Squeeze Me Macaroni" and "RetroVertigo" and then Faith No More's "Last Cup of Sorrow" back to back to back. The correct answer to this thread is MIKE PATTON.

Dam, the PacNW gets all the good gigs... We only get the arena bands down here, the club scene is all local cover bands. I get so jealous listening to KEXP.
