KevinL Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 And as far as simplicity goes, playing by the rules of the Yahoo game seem a helluva lot easier than making up your own that requires an honor system to abide by, especially when you're going to be gone for the 1st week of the tournment.... The man has a good point. Seems Weigie wanted something low maintenance, due to his travels, which is understandable too but not as simple as using the Yahoo rules. wiegie Posted June 6, 2006 Author Share Posted June 6, 2006 I really don't understand the complaining about the rules--they were laid out in the first post in this thread for everyone to see and are very similar to the rules for Smackbowl (with the exceptions that you can pick at most 3 players from one team and you must select a captain). If people didn't like the framework of the game they should have voiced their concerns a week ago when I first stated that I wanted to have set up such that you only picked a roster one time. As it is now, I have to go to bed and am leaving for France as sson as I wake up and have no time to make any rule changes in this game. As I said above, if you are displeased with these rules, start your own game. (I was also hoping to keep it simple for people who have only a minor interest in the World Cup.)
