cubdaddy
Anyone else giving up on Horn? In watching his games, it looks like he's lost a step or two...at this rate I'd put my money on Colston among others to out produce Horn by far...Thoughts? DROCK_IN_CT
Two weeks have gone by and your ready to give up. I would wait at least another few weeks. Stash him on the pine if you can. That O is clicking right now.

That O is clicking right now. He's definitely riding the pine...I just don't see the burst off the snap anymore...I'd be floored if he had a 70 / 900 / 6 performance this year... Swiss Cheezhead
Note to self: bump "cubdaddy" to top of the waiting lists for all my BoTH leagues. I like guys who give up on players after Week 2.

Agree with the numbers (actually I'd be surprised if he exceeds 60 receptions or 800 yds), but not for the reason. His physical skills have not diminished a bit. However, there are alot more consistent weapons around him, plus he no longer has a QB who locks onto him and only him.
LooGie
Joe Horn has been screwing FF players for years now. Well, last year anyway. But it felt like a hundred years. He's getting old, and definitely slowing down. I'm sure he'll have 1 or 2 120 yard games this season, but so will an ATL receiver
malta69
Ya I realize we're only two weeks in, however I drafted Horn with midrange #2 receiver expectatations: 60-70 yards a week with the occasion 100 yards and a score game thrown in there. The emergence of Bush, Henderson and now Colston in the passing game made me lower those expectations drastically. I get the feeling that his Week 1 statline (2 rec. 25 yds) was no fluke, and he may throw together a handful of those types of efforts as the season progresses and he faces some of the league's tougher corners. If you have depth at reeciver, Horn is a more than adequate #3 and in some weeks #2 option, however if you are in a situation like I was, where my only other options off the bench were Moulds and Mike Clayton, I'd suggest moving him while you can. I was able to move him in a deal this week which brought me back Stallworth as I felt the need to upgrade at #2 WR. If you are banking on Horn for 80 catches and 1100 yards I'd re-evaluate those expectations ASAP and see if you can go younger

Horn is a good WR2-3 IMO
