kryptonite
I thought there was an article this past season about Free Agents in 2007. I could not find it....is there a link? Also, I remember during the SNF game that Madden or Michaels said something about Gonzo going to GB...could be they were talking about a caliber-type TE going to GB...but it got me to thinking....or would that be wishing....LOL..... Thanks.
The Wolf
What is Chris Perry's status for 2007? Is he a restricted free agent like Michael Turner is? A list would be very helpful.

Ursa Majoris
A thin list at the skill positions, Gonzo being the obvious standout.
alexgaddis
A thin list at the skill positions, Gonzo being the obvious standout. For a Vikings team in desperate need of WR's this doesn't make my happy... Maybe we can trade for Fitz...

The one who stuck out to me is DJ Hackett. With Seattle signing Burleson, Branche and Jackson, they might let him go cheap. He would be an upgrade to what we have. The Next Generation
For a Vikings team in desperate need of WR's this doesn't make my happy... Maybe we can trade for Fitz... Maybe there's a promising undrafted rookie WR on your team already? Oh wait, he turned into Billy McMullen!

With that scheme and that coaching it wouldn't make any difference if you had Jerry Rice at WR.

I agree, Jerry Rice would not be an upgrade at this point in his career...

SLAYER
does anyone know when free agents generally start getting signed? Usually when big money is offered to them.
Todd1
Marc Boerigter Will that guys career ever die???? Gonzo would look darn nice in Green and Gold. I think we'll have an opening for the #88 uniform too!!

Minnesota has a potential stud in Martin Nance. He was on the Bills team, and I like him a lot as a sleeper, but SHHHHHH.....

Ursa Majoris
London Fletcher UFA. Skill positions are typically on the offensive side of the ball.

kraftykraft
Wow, thats got to be the thinnest group of FAs I have seen in a long time. Gonzo (who is arguably not the player he was 2 years ago) maybe Michael Turner, maybe Ahman Green for another year or two, and that's about it at the skill positions as far as guys who can potentially make an impact. Guess people are going to have to trade or draft to upgrade their teams this year, at least in moving the ball.
kpholmes
Some good looking defensive players on that list though, Freeney, Allen, Briggs, June, Adalius Thomas, Diggs, Clements, Samuel, Hamlin Be nice to see the Raiders put some money in a guy like Freeney or Briggs. hause62
mark it down...london fletcher is a patriot in 07 I hope so...so McGahee can have 180 yards up the middle against them. He's a bum! there should be a stat for how many of his tackles were more than 10 yards down the field. The Titians game was his worst ever! Henry made him look like a rag doll on more than one occasion.
