Swiss Cheezhead
He'll be fine for next week. Rib injuries aren't too serious.
digitaldan21
He'll be fine for next week. Rib injuries aren't too serious. Yeah, rib injuries aren't too bad, unless you wanna, you know, breathe. -DD21
Swiss Cheezhead
Yeah, rib injuries aren't too bad, unless you wanna, you know, breathe. -DD21 Breathing's overrated. Just get into the end zone -- then exhale. Simple.
wolfdigger
I broke a rib earlier this year, I cannot imaging being a RB in the NFL with a broken rib. It is very painfull. If it's broke, he'll be out awhile.
gobller
It was no ordinary shot either... Tatupu hit him head on with his helmet right in between his pads...
kncks12
I broke a rib earlier this year, I cannot imaging being a RB in the NFL with a broken rib. It is very painfull. If it's broke, he'll be out awhile. Yes, McGahee missed about 4 weeks with rib injury last year. It is not a good situation and it lingers. I am a caddy owner and want to hear the news. If bruised he should be ok, if it is broke he will be sitting and the Bucs are in a heap load of crap. Gruden's job lies with Caddy. Caddy looked really good in the half of work yesterday. He was quick and was catching balls. When Pittman came in they lost a lot and when Graham came in the lost a boat load. That team needs Caddy as much as they need Garcia. They looked great with both in there, but when they both went down, they looked like the Raiders of last year, they were TERRIBLE. If Caddy is out for extended period, you can probably start the who is Gruden's replacement going to be....because he surely will be fired! Swiss Cheezhead
Of course, it depends on the severity of the rib injury. And remember -- Travis Henry played something like 13 games with broken ribs a few years ago.

If he didn't play, he had to stay home with them. That is what you call incentive.

muck
Sirius Radio just said "Caddy has bruised ribs" ... but didn't get any detail on how severe or how long he may be out (if at all).

kncks12
Caddy questionable, does not sound as bad as some people were making it out to be.....we shall see Buccaneers: Caddy questionable The News Carnell Williams is considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints due to the bruised ribs he suffered in Week 1. Head coach Jon Gruden told the St. Petersburg Times that Michael Pittman and Earnest Graham will split carries if Williams is unable to play. Our View Caddy's track record of playing through pain isn't exactly solid. That being said, Gruden said there is still a chance he will play this week, so don't count him out just yet.
