dabuffbills
not surprising to see that after up 35-7 and throwing a bomb. You figured Baltimore would be going after him. that wasn't a cheap shot, he simply got pushed as he was throwing the ball

KC Crazy
Agreed not a cheap shot, but Baltimore was starting to hit hard. No time to have your QB in during garbage time.

Menudo
No reason for Ben to be back in the game.
Ursa Majoris
All he's doing is handing off - Batch can do that.
jjpro11
i think they just wanted to make sure he's ok.. we have a big game next week vs the browns.
Menudo
i think they just wanted to make sure he's ok.. we have a big game next week vs the browns. Who would have thought we'd be saying that ????? A win next week, and the Steelers would have a stranglehold on this division.
Duchess Jack
I will tell you this, I'm not sure if Ward was bragging after the hit or calling for someone to come look at Reed. If he was bragging I love HInes Ward, but, if he is bragging, while the play is still going on, that is disappointing. It looked like he was calling for help to me. I love the guy. Class, all the way.
cdrudge
i think they just wanted to make sure he's ok.. we have a big game next week vs the browns.I think it was the talking heads during the game, but maybe it was after...or maybe I dreamed it. But anyways, I thought I heard someone come up with a good excuse why he was back in. If he stayed out, the media would be hounding everyone to find out how Big Ben's leg is, is he injured, will he play next week, etc. By putting him back in, it pretty much makes all that go away as it's obvious he can play on it and it's not nearly the issue it might have been. Cyclones
One of the best guys in the NFL off the field, but he's the Rodney Harrison of wideouts in games. Hines is Dirty
Hugh-mongus
Last night's hit. It looked to me as if he was definitely signaling for help. It also looks like a potential fine for leading with the helmet.

MrTed46
Honestly, it didn't look that bad to me. Looked like he got jacked up for sure. Clean hit though but he didnt have to lay it down like that. I like Hines Ward but come on you got the lead you see Ed Reed isnt looking at you. But hey thats what he gets paid to do. Great hit. DBs lay out WRs to get in their heads the next time they go over the middle for a pass. I see nothing wrong with WRs returning the favor. Chavez
Ward was definitely signaling to the Ravens bench to send someone because he knew he cracked Reed with the crown of his helmet on Reed's chin. I would suspect he may be fined for that hit. He led with his helmet. Uh, the problem with that is the Ravens' bench is BEHIND him in the shot. DMD
Uh, the problem with that is the Ravens' bench is BEHIND him in the shot. Then he was signaling the referee. He was clearly calling for help for Reed.
