Bier Meister
why would we want to cut spending? ....... we're doing so well at it.
Ursa Majoris
Just go to CNN and it'll make sense. Or not President Bush introduced a $3.1 trillion budget on Monday that supports sizable increases in military spending to fight the war on terrorism and protects his signature tax cuts. We already spend more than the entire rest of the planet combined. This is crazy.
AtomicCEO
Or not We already spend more than the entire rest of the planet combined. This is crazy. Clearly, the problem is that we aren't throwing enough unaudited and untracked dollars at it.
DemonKnight
Dude, dont knock the budget, it could have been thousands higher if it wasnt for Bush. For his last budget, Bush, as a moneysaving measure, stopped the practice of providing 3,000 paper copies of the budget to members of Congress and the media, instead posting the entire document online. Jimmy Neutron
And that number doesn't include the cost of the war other than Q1!!! How do you submit a budget missing items you know damn well are going to show up? It'd be like on of us doing a monthly budget with no utilities. tonorator
can you imagine how high our taxes will be if we try to provide universal health care? how any "conservative" can make this argument and then support bush and this kind of spending is beyond me.
