wiegie Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 I just looked at my bank account and saw that I didn't get my paycheck direct-deposited into my account this morning. I just called our HR department and they said that no paycheck was issued for me. I'm still waiting to hear back as to why no paycheck was issued. (And we are supposed to close on a house in 3 hours--I do have enough funds to close, so that isn't a problem, but it is a little bit disconcerting anyway.) We once had an employee look at their check and it said "final paycheck", so she knew 3 days ahead of getting it that she was getting fired, so before she got fired she walked around telling everyone good bye. First check - check was for $0 - got corrected in a week Second check - $18. Correction a week later was short about $600.
