__HAUSE__
It's looking bad up here... The Bills have not been able to put points on the board this preseason and it has cost Offensive Coordinator Turk Schonert his position according to Mike Florio of Profootballtalk.com. In addition, he suggests the Bills will name Alex Van Pelt as a replacement. The Bills they have called a press conference for 1:30pm this afternoon and Paul Hamilton will cover the event and file his report at WGR550.com. Schopp and the Bulldog will start their show early today and will play back the press conference in its entirety.

Caveman_Nick
Van Pelt is an interesting choice. He was never super talented, seemed to get by on brains and has a fair understanding of "Bills Football" I am intrigued.

The coaching has always been the problem in Buffalo. One down, at least one (Jauron) to go. Edwards will be fine. Hopefully they open things up a bit. peepinmofo
I don't think Edwards get's out of this year alive. Because of the OL, or because he just isnt good?
__HAUSE__
Because of the OL, or because he just isnt good? The line is very bad. I just don't think Edwards is going to be able to finish the season. The chances of him taking another hit like the on Wilson put on him last year is very high. The whole system looks like a mess. I would also like to say, when Jauron DOES get fired (which he will), I really hope they go after one of the marquee coaches - Cower, Shanahan, etc... Im sick of just getting other teams former coaches, or assistant coaches.

DMD
I don't recall this ever happening before, let alone three times now. Is there some secret race to see who can score the least in the NFL?

Im no expert but my my overal first impression from seeing it in person, this line is no better OR worse than last years, with MORE desire and toughness. In general, I'd rather be the first team to try this new trend then the third, it kinda seems like they want to appear to be trying without actually doing anything. It's interesting to say the least and I really like Van Pelt, always have, hope it sparks something. Proving it WAS the coaching.
