Right, their defense was good, the offense not so much. Baltimore looked like a team that didn't belong playing in the post-season (heck all the losers so far this week look that way). If the Ravens had any type of real offense, the game would have been a good one.

What was wrong with the offense?

Don't you remember the Tampa Bay playoff game a few years ago? Bert Emanuel (I believe) TD overturned late in the game? Took like three steps after the catch and it was stripped out before he came to the ground. The replay booth called it an incompletion.

Then the rule was changed to call something like that a completion. Now they are going that the ball bust be possessed all the way to the player going down even if he caught it with both feet down.

Not saying I agree with the rule, but its consistent with the way they've been calling it.

Sure, I know, but this is becoming ludicrous. Before long they'll be saying receivers need to have gone 10 yards after the catch before a fumble can be awarded. They seem to be going out of their way to avoid giving fumbles. The guy had the ball under control and absent the defender would have kept it.

True. I know the rule and on paper Bush is totally right but it is hard to believe that that isnt a fumble. Back in the day it was a no brainer

After the 2nd TD, the Colts offense went to sleep. And still no one thought Baltimore would make a comeback because Flacco's confidence has been gone the last 3rd of the season.

 They only had 2 posessions in the third quarter, one of which was a FG. They had a 17 point lead in the fourth quarter. What did you want them to do offensively?

Manning was 30-44 for 246 and two TD's

No the Jets didn't. Unless you meant the Colts, then I guess the Saints scoring 35 in the first half has relevance?

Chargers look beatable today too.

 The Colts scored 10 more points in the first half than the Chargers have.

I just think the Colts looked pretty good last night. Not sure what they did to look "beatable". They dominated on both sides of ball. They caused turnovers. They shut down the Ravens running game. They threw the ball well. They haven't run the ball well all year, so it's no surprise they couldn't do a lot against the Ravens D that was trying to stop the run in the fourth. Especially with Addai taking the fourth quarter off. Are they beatable? Of course. But they deserve a lot of credit for how they dominated the Ravens last night. Didn't the Ravens beat the Chargers?

No, Norv Turner did. That was a really awful play call in that situation...

Not sure. I think the Jets would be an easier out. But I want to beat the Chargers real bad after the last two years . . .

Was thinking the same thing. Would love to see the Colts get redemption against the team that's knocked them out these past 2 years.. It's gonna be a good one!!

Yup, in week 2 when Flacco had confidence, coming off a successful rookie play-off season. The Chargers have started off slow plenty of years. The Chargers put up 26 points on that Baltimore D (the D started playing better later in the year to carry the team).

If the Chargers survive this week's game, any of the final 4 teams can win it.
