Chief Dick
Just talking to my wife while watching the Olympics. She was born in 1980, and I was 11 at the time of the 1980 Olympics. I was telling her that for me, that man had the greatest line ever uttered in the history of Olympic sport. And while I'm telling her this, I just start to tear up remembering that moment. Now I'm talking to her babbling like a baby over what that moment meant for America. Wow.

I moved from Cincy to SF, so I have followed his career.

wiegie
yep--if the Cold War was good for something, it was that it made the Olympics a lot more interesting (1980 and 1984 summer olympics notwithstanding)
