Scooby Posted May 19, 2010 Share Posted May 19, 2010 but just for 2 wks, he's been in Iraq 6 months now, will have to leave again for the remaining 6 months after this 2 wk sabbatical...this is my friend that lost her twins (way too premature because of her severe preeclampsia). They lost these twins in August last yr, Uncle Sam called him just 3 months later for this tour of duty....another example of the great sacrifices these military families make/. They have lots planned, romantic trips to SA and the beach.She's hoping to get prego while he's here! That would be sooo awesome! I told her I better not see her on FB except for 5 minute updates here and there lol! God bless the military families and all of u too! Scooby Posted June 8, 2010 Author Share Posted June 8, 2010 Update! She called today to tell me she did indeed get prego! Dang this girl is good!!! Lol! She hasn't even told her hubby yet, as you know he can't just pick up the phone or read emails while he's stationed in Iraq! So this will definitely make the time remaining so much more bearable...now let's just hope she can stay prego, she's already lost twins at 20 or so wks, and one prior early on in the pregnancy.
