Dude, just jump ship on the broncos already... Your posts remind me of the drunken guy in Major League.

I can't help myself. I think I need anger management classes. It's so damned frustrating to watch this arrogant smug little turd wash this entire team down the drain with the orange & blue kool aid drinkers cheering him all the way. Hell, the talk radio jocks here - including one "eckspurt" from another unnamed site - are touting this team as being capable of winning the AFC West and going to the playoffs. Hell, it'll be a great year if DEN somehow manages to finish ahead of the Raiders. Thank God other Belicheck spin-offs are simultaneously destroying KC or we'd be looking at dead last in this woeful division.

Look on the bright side:

You could have been a Lions fan during the Matt Millen years.....

Or just a Lions fan

Actually, Lions fans are the most dedicated fans only next to Cleveland fans.

All 6 of us?

One playoff win in 50 years...............depressing, but imagine the joy when we win something....

I am also curious about Moreno. Not so much the injury, but the outlook for him after he comes back. They were pretty committed to him last year. The same committment this year could lead to some good value.....

@BroncoBilly

I wouldn't discount the Broncos and McHoodie just yet. Maybe not this year, but its a work in progress. At least he's bringing in solid human beings -- in an era where the NFL is making the NBA'ers look like saints, I think he deserves some time on that merit alone. It's not an easy process changing a regime...in any context. You have to make short term sacrifices to achieve long term goals. Cutler was a doofus, if only he had half the personality and presence of Tebow. Marshall, Scheffler (Cutler's boy), and Hillis were part of the Shannahan crew. They weren't with the program. Talented, yes. New school Broncos, no.

Talent still makes a difference in today's NFL, last I saw. Now if DEN wants to play in a church league, we might be onto something here. If McDaniels really believes in what he is trying to sell, why not make the talented guys better human beings rather than trying to make the great human beings more talented?

Be careful about Moreno optimism. DEN is planning on starting at least 2 rookies on the O-line, and these aren't the same quality of players as the guys the Jets drafted a couple of years ago. It appears they are also pushing Clady back early from his knee injury.

I don't know what John Elway has to do with this. Of course, Terrell Davis came along and bailed that horsefaced turd out.

This is a team sport. Like an Army. When you only have 53 spots you can't have divas, half-steppers, or locker room cancers. The same thing was said about Belichick when he came in and cleaned house. All I'm saying is give him 2-3 years....at least. I admit his first draft was a whif (I do like Moreno though) but cleaning of the house was to be expected. When you replace a coach /staff that was there for 14 years...there is a lot of resinous things left behind that need to be cleaned up or thrown out. A lot of animosity is carried over. Essentially you're hitting the reset button. It takes time to work past that...and honestly the most successful operations do that upfront...instead of band-aiding the unavoidable.

This philosophy, in theory, is what makes the Pats a great team. The reason why they could drop-in replace a pro-bowler with another no nameer...who too became a pro-bowler in the system.

Don't rip my head off here, but Shanahan and company were not exactly wrecking shop with Cutler/Marshall in town. Cutler isn't a franchise quarterback. He's a good quarterback, but very replacable. Thomas is a man beast, and while Moreno isn't flashy, I think he can be an extremely good back. This team isn't void of talent. Besides, you have Superman waiting in the wings.

I'm an admitted McD fan because of his not putting up with BS from grown men acting like children. They're my no.2 team to follow this year.

Cutler isn't a franchise quarterback. He's a good quarterback, but very replaceable.

This is always the logic I've struggled with. Cutler goes to the Bears (where QBs typically go to die) and has a bad year with a weak O-line, RB, and extremely young WRs. Everyone now says he is terrible and thinks he is "easily replaceable". He has his flaws for sure, but his talent IMO is undeniable and far from easily replaceable. In the right situation he could be a helluva QB.

Denver Broncos RB Correll Buckhalter (back), CB Champ Bailey (undisclosed), OL Chris Kuper (ankle) and LB D.J. Williams (undisclosed) will participate in practice Tuesday, Aug. 24, according to DenverBroncos.com's Gray Caldwell.

Huddle Up: Buckhalter saw a back/neck specialist two weeks ago and must have received a good prognosis. He'll likely resume his role as Knowshon Moreno's caddy as long as he's healthy. Moreno (hamstring) should also be back soon per NFL Network's Jason La Canfora. Their return should result in the release of Justin Fargas and/or LenDale White.

Moreno news is scarce. It's a McDaniels-Belichick thing, the way he's trained players not to talk about injuries. Not a whisper. Lockdown.

It's pretty clear that Moreno slightly tore his hamstring on Aug. 1. But he's going on four weeks of rest and rehab, which is a long time.

I found this Twitter page for Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post. http://twitter.com/PostBroncos

"Players like Dan Graham, Brandon Stokley, Knowshon Moreno and Tim Tebow participated in the walk-thru but will NOT practice."

about 6 hours ago via TweetDeck

It's good to hear Moreno was in the Wednesday walk-through, possibly running a bit.
