Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I tried Oblivion for the PC and then for the XBOX but just couldn't get in to it. It surprised me because I am an old school RPG gamer and everyone I talked to was basically jerking off over this game. I tried different characters, I tried doing things differently, going out exploring outside of the main plot lines, you name it, I tried it. Believe me it drives me nuts because it has all of the components I demand in a good game. But it is 'too' open of a game.

I remember one night being lost in the mountains for an hour and didn't run into another creature the entire time minus one humanoid that was shooting arrows at me.

Now if we're talking games, Dragon Age II comes up in a few days. I cannot wait for that.

I see divorce in my future... 300+ hours of gameplay = 3 months later, "Where did my wife and kids go?"

My wife really liked IV and she is looking forward to V.

Winning.

I've reached Level 51. The expanse of the game is impressive. Their are six major cities/towns. I haven't been to one of them yet and I've only just started to explore another. I've returned to the main quest after spending months on other things.

:nerd:
