SEC=UGA
Seems taligate appropriate: Oh, No!!!! I'd be much more worried about the Detroit area... You get about 40 miles outside of detroit and try to tune in an AM station that isn't in Arabic or Persian, you can't do it. Not only that, but it seems there are about as many guns in Detroit as in Somalia.
MikesVikes
Somalies want a different law from the rest of us? Who do they think they are? American Indians?

Savage Beatings
As a Minnesota resident it is my observation that aside from a very general culture of entitlement and rudeness, I have not been affected by the large number of Minnesota Somalis and their preference for Sharia Law. If private businesses want to cater to that, then let the market decide whether it will stand or not. If it starts creeping into the courts or legislation, then I will start fighting it. General Itals
Jeebus, that news is nearly a year old. When will Fox News get with the times? As an aside, when my grandfather passed away years ago, I found his baptismal record from St. Paul Lutheran Church. I had a hard time reading it as it was entirely in German. When, oh when, will those German-Americans be assimilated into our culture?

Actually, I believe church and Sharia law are already allowed to hold arbitration sessions that a court will recognize as long as all parties in the arbitration sign off on it and agree to abide by the result. No result can ever break an American law, IIRC, so no burying and stoning women, no chopping off of hands, etc, etc.. This might be only in some states, not sure. I'm ok with arbitration too as long as, like you point out, both sides are willing to agree to it ahead of time.

yo mama
Face it, the best thing about Detroit is the weather. I'd argue the best thing about Detroit these days is that I've no reason to go there. A distant second - Kid Rock.
