keggerz
Look at just Sapp the player and he absolutely belongs in the HOF...but so do both Strahan and Haley.
Zooty
same issue every year. Only 5 modern candidates can get in a year. From that 5 coaches, owners and contributors get in as well. They need to go separately. IMO Parcells is what kept Haley and Strahan out. Though personally I would have put in both of them over Tuna. Ny guess is Strahan's issue likely this year is the voters didn't think he was a 1st ballot guy.

That's debatable IMO, certainly not over Strahan and it doesn't help that Sapp is such a dirtbag either.

I don't think it is debatable at all...and evidently neither did the voters
tazinib1
The stats on Sapp are undeniable..impressive piece of work. His stats on his mouth are another issue all-together. Of course, if we all rated personality into the equation, well....

rajncajn
I don't think it is debatable at all...and evidently neither did the voters At some point, sure. But there are plenty of players, including some that were nominated and didn't get in, that deserve it much more than him. I don't really care what the "voters" think because they've shown over the years that they often don't get it right. justin
Somewhat ironic that the Football HOF doesn't have enough spots for all of the great players and the Baseball HOF doesn't have any great players to fill the spots........
