bago blackshirts
PPR league - Jordan Cameron vs Pats, Fred Jackson vs Bucs or Anquan Boldin vs Seahawks? Zeus69
AP is my RB1 and worried he will be out this weekend. Would you pick up Toby Gerhart (he's available on my WW)? Who from my roster would you drop? Jones, Johnson, Reed...? Thanks HK.

It is not even a sure thing Gerhart plays this week as he reinjured his hamstring. Daniel Thomas is not on your waivers? that is who I would rather have with N.E. coming up. HighKite
Yes, Daniel Thomas is on my waivers. You'd pick him up, even with Lamar Miller healthy? Miller has a concussion and has to clear the leagues protocol 1st. N.E. has gave up 9 straight weeks of 100 yards rushing.if Thomas has that job to himself next week he is gonna be a nice play. And Gerhart is not Peterson. only Peterson can make that line of the Vikings look good. without Peterson I feel the Vikings work on Patterson and getting him ready for the future. That being said, you are correct, if Miller does play it clouds things up. but if Peterson plays it also clouds up Gerhart. plus if you look at Gerharts schedule it does not favor the running game at all. none of the teams he has left to play has gave up 100 yards rushing in 3 weeks except in week 17 where they play the Lions who until the snow bowl had not gave up 100 yards in 6 weeks. This is how I see it. now you may have seen something in Gerhart that I have not seen so if you are very intent on it do not let me sway you. I am just saying what I would do. it don't mean it is correct.

You are correct much more often than not, though, and I value your input (as do MANY others, obviously, in this 80 page thread!!). For completeness, here's the top (by avg. points) "available" RBs on my WW as of today: Bilal Powell, NYJ Mike Tolbert, Car BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Cin Jason Snelling, Atl Marcel Reece, Oak Daniel Thomas, Mia Bernard Pierce, Bal LeGarrette Blount, NE Do you see anyone else more appealing than Thomas for this weeks matchup? hawkeye5441
HK, Thanks for your advice and i won this week. Now next week I will go 2nd round play off. Can you tell me what should i line up for my team to win again? Thanks. The other team line up: ================== QB Tom Brady WR Julian Edelman WR Jacoby Jones RB Shane Vereen RB Joique Bell or Reggie Bush TE Julius Thomas W/T Keenan Allen W/R LeVeon Bell K Justin Tucker Def Sea My team line up: ============= QB P Manning WR Andre Johnson WR Pierre Garcon RB K Moreno RB Zac Stacy TE Jimmy Graham W/T H Douglas W/R Marshawn Lynch K D Bailey Def New England Bench: Gio Bernard, Ben Tate, Ryan Mathews and Wr: Vicent Jackson I used Oakland Def and got -4, should I pick Buff Def or Tenn or Phila . Should I pick up Pitta, Clay or walker to replace H Douglas?

If Miler does not play I do not. as you pointed out that is up in the air at the moment. I will give you my evaluation of each since it is such a important week. Powell- has the Panthers this week and is only a change of pace back. would hate to go into battle with him. Tolbert - if Stewert plays it goes back to the 3 headed monster. and even if he don't Williams will be in his way. unless I was desperate in TD heavy leagues I would not look at him. Green-Ellis - If not for Bernard this guy would be having a year. just that Bernard is stealing to many important snaps so I don't trust him. I do think he could do 70 yards this week though. better than the 2 above. Snelling - Snelling has been invisible for a while now. Reece - McFadden and he should split up the carries this week. and playing the Chiefs is not the best matchup. if for some reason they give Reece the start instead of McFadden then I think he would be solid in a PPR fashion. problem is so would McFadden. Thomas- you know my view on him. Pierce - he is with Snelling. not needed at all. Blount - another 3 man rotation. Vereen as of now is the only 1 worth using and I believe Ridley is the only other 1 worth storing. unless Blount makes the end zone he is for the most part useless. 1st off this list for me would be Thomas.then Reece, then Gerhart as if he does start he should get 20 touches and then Green -Ellis. I would keep and eye on Todman if MJD has a setback too.
Zeus69
Also, what do you think of Da'Rick Rogers, HK? One week wonder, or Luck's new "go to" guy? And THANKS for thorough analysis above on the RB situation!! Latest I've read is that AP feels he will be "good to go" for game agains Eagles, but a CT is pending and he will be seeing a foot specialist this week... Should I pick up Pitta, Clay or walker to replace H Douglas? You got Vincent Jackson with a great matchup with the Rams. he will replace Douglas just fine. If Peterson does not play this week I would go Philly for sure. Yeah Oakland bit me last week too. Congrats on winning. I think you stick Jackson in your lineup and you are looking good again this week.
hawkeye5441
HK, No Vicent Jackson will play with 49ers next week at TB, that's why i bench him . NO will play with Ram not TB :-(

And THANKS for thorough analysis above on the RB situation!! Latest I've read is that AP feels he will be "good to go" for game agains Eagles, but a CT is pending and he will be seeing a foot specialist this week... Looks like Lacy might not play so Starks has become another option at RB on our previous post. I think Rogers is for real for the most part because they have no WR's. Bey cannot create separation and Hilton cannot catch if there is anyone in his perimeter plus he is getting doubled. only bad thing is Rogers will not catch anyone by suprise next week. I would not cut anyone to useful for him but if I had a dead spot I would take a flier on him.

NO will play with Ram not TB :-( Oops my bad on the matchup but I still play Vincent Jackson. just not as happy as I would of been if it was the Rams. his upside is to hard to bench for any WW material. at least for now til after we get to evaluate the injuries another day. Gillotine318
Hey HK, you saved my team this season so here is my problem this week: WDIS-Standard Scoring Larry Fitzgerald (@#1 DST against receivers TEN) or Keenan Allen (@#22 DST against receivers DEN)? Fitz is a beast ,but so is Allen, and his matchup is way better.
