stevegrab Posted September 14, 2015 Share Posted September 14, 2015 He looked good on his first possession, scoring the TD. After that not so much, the interception was a bad throw. The fumbles, I forget the details but he was trying a bit too hard. The offense is not very good, Crowell looked horrible running the ball, BAM right into the line most of the time for no gain. The TE had some good plays, the WR are not much of a threat. I also think the Jets D was pretty good. Af for McCown, he is going to get himself killed, he was talking some serious risks trying to get extra yards even in the pre-season. That helicopter hit sucked both because of the hit he took being concussed and losing the ball with a chance for at least a FG. And the Browns defense, well they were just bad in many ways. Being run all over again, and the secondary wasn't doing enough to stop the pass, and no pressure on the QB. I liked what I saw in Johnny early and a few times after that. Hopefully if he has to start next Sunday against the Titans he can get some more preparation and do a better job protecting the ball. Dcat Posted September 14, 2015 Share Posted September 14, 2015 I was at the game yesterday. Pros: Manziel is pretty accurate and has decent arm strength. Cons: Happy feet. Doesn't let WRs finish their routes.. he's already locked in to one WR or has taken off on foot. Not good. EXTREMELY CARELESS with the ball. Wow... he will be a fumble machine if he doesn't secure that ball better. Kid has potential and will likely have some shining moments... but overall, the bad (for this season, at least) will outweigh the good.
