boltnlava
This COULD BE a way for him to miss training camps and otas and etc... only to arrive mid season to help Brady with the playoff push.

I was thinking the same thing. He hates training camp. I wouldn't put it past Gronk.

There's no need to "retire". It's Gronk, he loves the attention.

Not a small target by any means

League_Champion
I'm ok with Brate if it's a full time roll. Maybe a little over market but I could see something like 65 catches, 700 yards and 6-8 TDs?
millworkguy
He had 171 rec, for 24 tds in the 4 years before gronk (while competing with o.j. Howard) and is 5 years younger than cook

Not totally blind to Gronk retiring. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/cade-otton/32004f54-5471-2400-c87d-346814f25b06

I said it was over market but it's not crazy. That could be a ceiling for him, I wouldn't count on it but I think a full season with Tom Brady can make anyone look good. Big John
The Bucs just signed Kyle Rudolph, per ESPN.

I think Brate is still TE1, with the rookie Cade Otton fighting for the backup spot. I don't think this is much of a big deal for anyone. Rudolph is not good anymore. BillyBalata
While Rudy won't be a #1 TE this year, he's always had the hands to catch just about anything thrown in his direction. He could be a decent red zone target. He's also #14 TE all time in tds. He needs 5 more to be top 10. I'd bet money that happens this year, if he stays healthy. that's the big if tho. I wouldn't expect him to light it up in fantasy terms but it's a nice signing by Tampa.

I'd take that bet, he has caught 8 td's in the last 3 seasons, and 12 in the last 4.
