Bonehand
Reported on ESPN NEWS, 6 year deal for Randle El to the Redskins.... 1365279 Thus, officially making Brandon Lloyd useless for all intents & purposes.
isleseeya
that one does not make sense considering that got Brandon Lloyd yesterday and have Moss as their #
darin3
Thus, officially making Brandon Lloyd useless for all intents & purposes. 1365282 Randle-El is more of a slot, 3rd WR. Lloyd's an outside guy, more of a deep threat.

Doc Holliday
I think Lloyd still ends up the number 2. I think Randle El will be used as a 3rd WR/kickoff return/gadget play guy. should be a interesting situation at the WR position come preseason time with the 2 fighting each other though. loyalboyd
I agree. But still will be intresting because they have Cooley also to catch the ball. Unless they finally make him a TE

Bonehand
Randle-El is more of a slot, 3rd WR. Lloyd's an outside guy, more of a deep threat. 1365284 More of a deep threat than MOSS? I needed Lloyd to perform as a #1 for his team in my dynasty league, and now Lloyd's never going to get any balls thrown to him, watch. Cordo
According to SIRIUS NFL radio, no deal was finalized and A-R-E is on the way to Chicago.
Big Score 1
Considering that just a few days ago at the $94.5 mil cap figure, reports were flying around that the Skins would have to cut 20+ players to get under that cap and yet now with the cap being only $7.5 mil more, Snyder and the Skins are once again major FA players even if they don't sign ARE. I'd say those experts reporting that the Skins would have to gut the team to fit under the cap, might have been exaggerating just a tad. Skins capologists have got it going on. HowboutthemCowboys
That's going to be an impressive trio of WR's. 1365345 I'm not so sure.Lloyd makes all the incredible catches and not much else.IMO having watched Pitt. alot Randle El is not worth all the attention he's been getting. He can't stretch the field and as a punt returner,he seems always to try to break the long one instead of putting his head in there and take the 8 or 9 yds that are there.Again,JMO
Donutrun Jellies
According to SIRIUS NFL radio, no deal was finalized and A-R-E is on the way to Chicago. 1365340 Now, Chitown is where I expected to lose AREl to, due to his ties there ... Sure, WashDC can offer coin, but is coin realllllly worth more than winning and fitting in an offense while still making good coin? I can't see how his going to DC helps his career -- but going home? At least that makes some sense to me ... I guess I gotta get more motivated by money.

Keep in mind that Lloyd is still young, and if he is making the tough catches now, they can hope to coach him into mkaing the easy ones as well. He'll do well in the endzone and along the sidelines nabbign those first downs. Moss can stretch the field. Again he could use more consistency, but you have to like his potential. Randle El is simply one of the hardest working players in the game. The guy is all heart, and will add toughness to whichever team he ends up on.
