georgemoe
A few years ago, mom thought it was a great idea to get me a small GF grill for Christmas. I think I might have cooked maybe two hamburgers on it. I actually pulled it out of the cellar this morning to grill some reuben sammiches paninni style for lunch. Nice! Tuna melts tonight. So fess up. Who has a GF grill and actually uses it on a weekly basis? Edited April 23, 2006 by georgemoe
Jimmy Neutron
Those Foreman grills aren't bad for sandwiches, but a whole lot harder to clean than a simple frying pan. I'll use our's for chicken breasts once in a while, but not for other meats.
Puddy
My burgers come out better in a frying pan cooked slowly. I think the Foreman has it's place and we use ours once a month or so (usually for chicken breast also). I haven't figured out how to get things to cook without overcooking the top and bottom. darin3
I have a small Foreman. I think I bought it right after college when it first came out at the "As Seen on TV Store". I still have the thing, and I use it to quickly cook chicken. If I'm making a burger, I grill it on my BBQ. I also got one of those Toastmaster "Snackster" sandwich/snack makers (just Google it). This this kicks butt. Much better at panini-making than the Foreman.

Right now I need room for the Wolfgang Puck Bistro 1700 Deep Fryer we bought on HSN this morning. I really wish I knew what the wife and I were thinking this morning. I said no, she said yes, then I just caved. I'm a sucker for kitchen chit.

ChuckB
haven't used my Foreman grill in probably two years or better. Used to use it for chicken but got sick of it being tough and dry. Now I just use a real grill, gives me a reason to drink a beer

rhippens
i use mine a lot, at least once a week for burgers or sandwiches or something else quick. not sure about the cleaning comments as i think it's one of the easiest "pans" to clean in my house. wet paper towel while it's still hot and it wipes right off. maybe i have a newer model or something that makes it easy, but i clean mine immediately after taking the food off and it works like a charm. i love to bbq on the grill, so i'll do the real meat outside. but if i'm looking for a quick burger or dog or a quick sandwich, i leave the pans in the cabinets and the charcoal in the basement. Azazello1313
i've got a small one i've had for about 5 years, and it's the best thing ever for quickly cooking up a boneless chicken breast. get a nice, tasty sear on the outside, very juicy inside. just about as good as cooking it out on the fire. it's pretty good for burgers, too, but not great. i think i've used it once or twice to make squished sammiches, but that's not really my thing i guess. Hugh B Tool
Have a bigger model and use it a lot. The smaller one I had I used so much the teflon was wearing off. Great for all sorts of things especially fajitas, pork chops, sausages etc etc. Never had anything turn out tough or over cooked. Which leads me to believe it is not the grill, but the operator of said grill. And who the frock wants to use two freakin' frying pans and a brick anyway? bricks do work well on the outdoor grill though
sundaynfl
I have one at the office. It gets used by me or my staff every day... burgers, sandi's chix etc... great having a hot meal for lunch!
DMD
My mom gave me one as well and I finally started using it when it was too cold outside to BBQ. It actually does a decent job with burgers but I have never tried cooking anything else on it. With burgers, it is a mess to clean up but not too bad if you do it while it is still a little warm and wipe it down with wet paper towels or something. It's no replacement for a grill, but when it is raining outside and you just want to cook up some burgers, it's not all that bad.
