wildcat2334
my favorite team to play by far in Super Tecmo was Houston. Just drop Moon back in the run and shoot, and sling it all over the field good times...........

ROYALWITCHEESE
Houston's offense looked strikingly similar to NE's this year. Run-n-shoot...

Randall
Classic playoff games. I still like this one-Raiders 28, Dolphins 26 (AFC semis, Dec. 21, 1974)
tomfin2000
Those of us who grew up as Houston Oilers fans will be tormented with that game for the rest of our lives.
bigrocks
Interesting.... 25 "all-time" classic playoff games are mentioned. Only one involves the Patriots..... and that is the infamous "Tuck" game. Based on what I read/hear about the Pats lately, you would think they invented great football in New England. Pope Flick
Those of us who grew up as Houston Oilers fans will be tormented with that game for the rest of our lives. I moved to Houston when I was 12 and became a fan of that Run N Shoot team. I'll never forget watching that game, then a buddy of mine called me later that day. He had taken off on a bike ride after the 3rd quarter pick Houston took back for the score to max out their lead. He had NO idea what had happened, and when I told him he could tell by my voice I wasn't lying. All I remember is him saying "No No No NO NO" BTW - Jack Pardee sucked. tomfin2000
BTW - Jack Pardee sucked. Big time. Ii've never been a Kevin Gilbride fan either. As unprofessional as it was, I have to admit that I enjoyed seeing Buddy Ryan take a swing at him. It's too bad that they weren't able to make Jeff Fisher the head coach a few years earlier. Don't even get me started on the Houston-Denver game from 1991. To this day I haven't forgiven Tom White for making all of those ticky tack calls on the offensive line when the Oilers werre driving for a TD that would have put the game away late in the 4th quarter. I can't remember exactly what it was that White was calling, but it was something ridiculious like the offensive linemen lining up with their feet at the wrong angle or something. I don't want to take anything away from those Buffalo and Denver teams, becuase they played their hearts out to win, but there were a lot of BS calls (and poor coaching) going against the Oilers in both of those games.
