Ursa Majoris
no bait, if the injury hinders him in the SB and the pats lose it will be a "tainted" giants win...all i am trying to say other then that is that all teams have to fight thru injuries and some are to star players(at least I think that is what I am saying) No you're not, you're launching yet more bait into a pool that is so full of it you could walk across it. Randall
Can't we all just agree to hate the Patriots? Brady didn't have much of a limp. Not a big deal imo.
keggerz
Magic word is win ..win the SB , put your name in the book as SB winner and then let the fans bicker if its tainted or not by the way i would say its not tainted should giants win if Brady is not healthy and i would agree with you...what i was alluding to is what the fans and maybe even media would be saying....i am getting called out for fishing here and when i am i have no problem admitting it...hell there are even "hidden" things in most of my fishing posts so I dont get called out on something and just come back with a "i was fishing"....with that said: Yeah if Brady doesnt play in the SB or is limited it will suck for the Pats but I dont see how that is any different then the Chargers only having LT(last yrs MVP) for 3 plays(or was it series) their starting QB without his ACL and with a severely hobbled TE who happens to be the best in the game. Same for the Colts, do people not think it would have been a different outcome vs SD(and then possibly vs NE) if they had Freeney healthy and Harrison wasnt trying to shake off 10 games of rust not to mention that they were down to what their 2nd or 3rd string starting SLB? Injuries happen in the NFL and it sucks for many teams when they have their top stars at less then 100%(do i get a woulda, coulda, shoulda for the birds because of McNabbs injury from last yr limiting him for around 1/2 of this season?) This is football and there is no crying in football(or is that baseball ) and like has been said numerous times in the past, good teams find ways to win and overcome their challenges and this year both the Pats and GMen have done that. The SB will be no different no matter who is the favorite no matter who is injured or banged up. Edited January 22, 2008 by keggerz

Caveman_Nick
Yeah if Brady doesnt play in the SB or is limited it will suck for the Pats but I dont see how that is any different then the Chargers only having LT(last yrs MVP) for 3 plays(or was it series) their starting QB without his ACL and with a severely hobbled TE who happens to be the best in the game. I 100% agree, and I'd bet my shirt that every single player in the Patriots locker room would say the same thing and mean it. Injuries can cut any team, and part of the game is surviving to the end well enough to win it all. No excuses. Play and win or shut up. Randall
Guess they'll have to stomp on the foot instead of a leg sweep. An orthopedic expert tells the New York Post that the "cam walker" Tom Brady wore on Monday was the result of trauma to Brady's foot. "This is not just a simple strain or a sprain," Dr. Rick Positano says. Positano speculates that Brady may have an Achilles' injury, though it's worth noting that the NY Post column is extremely biased against anything Patriots. Patriots spokesman Stacey James had no comment on Brady's injury. Source: New York Post

Cameltosis
More importantly, how long until he'll be able to bang random chicks and leave them and the baby? Brady is like Chuck Norris or Teddy Bruschi. He can just point his schwantz in a girls general direction and impregnate them.

If the injury would have an impact on his play, he would have been in Foxboro receiving treatment and not at Gisele's. It's probably a slight sprain and they told him to wear it so he didn't tweak it going up stairs or tweak it tapping Gisele.
charty
More importantly, how long until he'll be able to bang random chicks and leave them and the baby? A random chick he had a 4 yr relationship with that happened to get pregnant at the same time he was breaking it off because he didn't want to get married and wasn't ready for kids? Keep fishin' though.
