DMD
This year WCOFF is going to be in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Orlando and Dallas. They are capping it to 1200 teams (about twice the number of year one teams). The orlando and Dallas venues are new and I suppose there are fewer teams in each spot - not sure how many were in Vegas last year but it was very big I am sure. The cost is now $1825 per team which is $1700 entrance fee and $125 events fee but I cannot see that there is any event in the Dallas venue. They also have sattelite leagues and auction leagues for lesser costs. Man, that is a big contest if they get 1200 teams. Looks like they are changing it up this year in a few ways. I need to read to see them all but is the Vegas party after the draft still happening? They are really changing under the new ownership. tazinib1
I'm seriously considering attending Vegas this year. If not this year, then I will be there in 2009 without a doubt. I'd like to get into this before the entry fee reaches 2k.

I'd like to get into this before the entry fee reaches 2k. If I were to estimate there will be about 15-20 Huddlers there this year - some not even on a team. We hit it like Rock Stars all weekend. twiley
Looking at the event list for the other venues it appears that Vegas is really the place to be. The other venues are just having a post-draft reception.
Swiss Cheezhead
Missing out last year sucked. I'll be there this year. Also...WCOFF keeper leagues?? That's the first I've heard of that. I might have to research that a little. Edited May 15, 2008 by Swiss Cheezhead

That is always a blast. Last year was just optional and only on the 2nd floor, but all the games, food, drink and friends make it well worth the $75. I agree that Vegas is the place to go for the "event" portion of it. If you simply want a chance at the big money, any of the other locations will work. msaint
Will definitely be back again for the whole weekend...hoping to actually see Huddlers this year instead of doing a few laps around the Hooters Casino bar that Huddlers might be in, not seeing any, and then leaving after losing a quick $100 in blackjack. You must not have been there in "inaugural" 2005 -- otherwise I'm sure we would have met up. Either way, here's hoping we can trade a couple of rounds with the rest of our Huddle brethren this year.
