They are ugly, fugly and but fugly. There is word that the Browns are going to introduce a new team logo next week (Tue). They have said they will not be putting any logo on the helmet, though the color may change a little to match those used on the new uniform designs (which will not change much and still feature brown, orange and white). Rumors say it will not be the Brownie elf character familiar from the 50s & 60s. Whatever it is I hope it is tasteful and not Oregonish. Most Browns fans would tell you the logo is fine (its the plain orange helmet), the uniforms too, they don't need upgrading and modernizing. (Some of those attempts with the bird based logos and others to make them look meaner in the past have been silly.) Make the team better, hire a football guy to run football operations and step aside (you're not Jerry Jones, and even he meddles too much). Not sure they got the right shade of orange. And the logo still uses a helmet design from 20 years ago or more. Are these design firms trying to drum up business? Only wear the brown uniforms sometimes, and just in the last 5 years both pants and jerseys. They also wear all white uniforms. There has been rumor that the new uniforms for 2014 will drop the brown pants. Simple and beautiful, nothing ugly about them Well until the new design comes out.
