Holy moly they came back. Garbage-seeya couldn't hold down the fort. Of course, against that juggernaut of an offense, it was a tall order.

Something tells me this game is gonna be a doozy.

Doh! And just like that, 4-2. Poor BoSox fans.

DOH! Man-Ram is en fuego. 4-3 ChiSux.

:D

SWEET!!

Let's take it to the next level, guys. Pitching is the key here, and we've got it this year. Just keep Marte for garbage time and let everyone else do it.

This team is a pleasure to watch right now. The only people that wouldn't admit that would by your typical arrogant Cubs fans. :D

:D :D :D :D

I'm actually hoping it's the Yankees, given how badley the Sox have sucked against Anaheim over the past few years.

As a Boston fan, I have to tell you, the R Sox pitching was just terrible this series, but I'm really impressed with the White Sox. They look very solid as a team.

I'd maybe like to see more experience in a closer than Bobby Jenks has, but other than that, I have a hard time finding a weakness there up and down the line.

The W Sox always seemed to come back when the R sox got them down (game 2, a 4-0 lead - game 3 down a run with bases loaded, nobody out).

Sweeping a series is tough - and they just swept the Indians and Red Sox. Yikes. They are just a buzz-saw right now.

PS- The White Sox mgmt. have to lose that bush-league "na,na,na,nah" song at the end of games. That was cool about 15 years ago. In high school. The Yankees had New York, NY during their runs - Boston had Dirty Water byt he Standells.

Is "na,na,na,nah" the best Chicagoans can come up with? That's lamer than deep-dish pizza and the superbowl shuffle.

I mean, yes the W Sox aren't the Cubs so maybe they don't see tradition in that way on the South Side.....but then again when your tradition consists of putting up antispetic ballparks named after miserly fatherless males.....and throwing the world series....I guess traditions really aren't that important. snap.

Point being:

Who cares who they play? All I know is that we're moving forward and anything can happen. Got pitching? YES!!

Given the Yankees' pitching over the past two games, I'd much rather face them in the ALCS. But, yes, I'm absolutely esctatic that they're moving on now! :D

That song is tradition. It goes back to the Winnin' Ugly days of '83. There's nothing "bush league" about it.

Uh, oh. I sense the Boston Inferiority Complex coming on... :D

"Tradition" like Bill Buckner, Bucky Dent, and Aaron Boone? Can I add Tony Graffanino to that list? :D

I'll take "no tradition" over the "traditions" that the Cubs and Red Sox have.

Yeah, we're all really envious of that old dump Fenway. Does it have indoor plumbing yet? :D

You're a perfect example of why people don't like Red Sox or Yankees fans. Instead of contributing to the "pretentious and obnoxious" stereotype, try showing a little class the next time that you lose. Yeah, you won the Wrold Series last year... for the first time in 86 years. Whooptie-fu@king-do. Here's your cyber-cigar. Smoke away, momo. :D

We've lost more big games than you've ever played in. :D

And I'm pretty sure that insulted us both... but I don't care.

Seriously, congratulations... the Sox played great. I hope you guys get embarrassed in the next round, but that's only because you're rubbing it in Red Sox fans faces like it's the first time we've seen a playoff loss... :D Save that crap for the Yankee fans who deserve it. :D

All kidding aside though... that song is gay. :D
