Pirate lookin' at 40
I predict a victory for the Cowboys in a battle of the leagues top two QB's. Okay, maybe not a battle of the leagues top two QB's...but a Cowboy victory just the same. And yes, I am drunk.
Grits and Shins
Here's what I predict will happen. Between Jones and Barber Dallas will rack up 180 yards on the ground and will be in position to win the game. But between penalties, Vanderjagt missed field goals and giving up the big play to Manning the Boys will lose.
BeeR
Colts fan but I guarantee they will lose this game since of all the teams to lose to I would pick this one last. Oh that plus their D sucks.

TheCMB
I agree with Grits scenario, except I think DAL might actually pull it out. They will do what the Pats should have done with Dillon & Maroney.
T_bone65
I predict 12 penalities for 160 yards against Dallas and 2 50+ yard TD passes for Manning. Romo will throw for 250 and 1 TD and TO will drop a 50+ yard TD gift right in his hands.
Sgt. Ryan
John Clayton predicted this yesterday. So you are not the first. Im not predicting a Boys win, but Im going to enjoy watching that matchup.
i_am_the_swammi
your gut feeling is right, but you are off by just one week.... Eagles 31, Colts 26 in two weeks
Hitman
Colts win easy IMO. Who's going to guard Harrison and Wayne? And if you can't do that...you better be able to rush the passer. I think the Cowboys will try to blitz often and rush Manning heavily, but that's always playing with fire. Jones and Barber aren't the type of RBs that will destroy the Colts IMO. They are both smallish guys. They will get nice yardage combined, (what team can't run for 100+ on the Colts?) but not enough to dominate the game for the Cowboys. Not much has been mentioned that I've seen...but the Colts running alot more double TE sets is causing teams alot of problems this year. (Mostly as a result of Stokely being out and no proven WR3.) The ball is being spread around more, and the TEs have done a great job. I like Clark, Utech & co. against the Dallas LBs in coverage. Addai will have a decent game IMO. I think Dallas will make too many mistakes, and the Colts fast and opportunistic DEF makes a few plays with Romo throwing a very costly pick or 2. Colts by 10-13 points. Wolv
This is gonna be a good game. No way does Indy blow out the Cowboys in Texas. I'm not worried about Addai - the Cowboys run D is stout. Its gonna come down to the same story every week for the Colts - Peyton. If the Cowboys don't provide any pressure on Manning, he'll carve up their secondary. Indy's D blows - plain and simple. Even if Manning catches fire, the Cowboys O will stay right with them. This may be decided on who makes the fewest turnovers/penalties. Hitman
Indy's D blows - plain and simple. The RUN DEF blows, plain and simple. They are last in the NFL giving up 159 yds a game. The secondary has actually played pretty well. (Especially with the lead). The highest net passing yardage they've allowed to a QB was 247 in week 1 against Eli. They are 2nd in the NFL with 158.3 yds allowed per game. They've held 6 teams under 200 yards passing. A couple under 100. Sure, teams haven't been passing the ball as much because the run DEF sucks, but when they have...(as in when the Colts jump up on you by 10 points or so) the secondary has done pretty well. When Bob Sanders comes back for good, the run DEF will be better, but the passing yards allowed will go up. Note that the Bills couldn't muster an offensive TD against the Colts yesterday, despite rushing for over 100 yds on the ground. That said, these guys are overdue for a loss and they are definitely NOT running the table this season. A matchup with a re-energized Cowboys in Dallas will be a tough test. Hitman
That said, these guys are overdue for a loss and they are definitely NOT running the table this season. I agree. I don't think they are running the table either, I just don't see them losing this week. I think that first loss comes against Philly, @ JAX, or CINCI. At least they get both Philly and CINCI @ home. JAX always plays them tough. (Even though they can't beat HOU for anything ) Heard on the radio this morning...I think they said HOU has 15 wins total since joining the league. 6 against JAX, and they haven't beaten any other team more than twice. CaptainHook
Defense has actually played well the last two weeks. Buffalo played their safeties so deep, I thought they were waiting on the Colts to do a surpise punt. Manning was patient. And if it hadn't been for a fumble returned for a TD, and giving up an 88 yard kick-off return that led to three points, the Bills wouldn't have been in it. Keep overlooking Addai. The kid can play.
