I can only vouch that AVG is (or at least appears to be) a good anti-virus program. At least I haven't gotten zapped by any viruses since I've been using it (and it did catch a couple and eliminate them).

You can download one for free, but I haven't seen this $35 version yet. If there is one that kind of makes me wonder what other features it has.

So far it's really cool. It takes time to get used to because it's obviously a different web browser, but I like the available use of tabs plus other interesting new features that firefox doesn't have. There's a lot to it so I'm sure it'll take the next week or so to really get used to it and understand what everything does. But so far it's pretty awesome.
