rocknrobn26
A good fried of mine is a total fanatic about Corvettes. So much so, he patented/copywrited the the word "Vettester". I thought some of you would like to see his website: Vettester...... I think it's pretty impressive. Enjoy!
AtomicCEO
Last night I watched "Top Gear" on the BBC absolutely trash the top end Vette. On the track it was comparable to a Ferarri. On a street it was the most uncomfortable, unmanageable car they had ever drove.

Furd
Justified? Well, its pretty much accepted that outside of the newer Corvettes, there is no real American sports car. The Ford GT is pretty awesome, but its too expensive and Ford stopped making them. The Dodge Viper is seen as an unrefined beast. Nothing really else to discuss. Maybe, but the Ford GT is/was much less expensive than its eurotrash counter parts. Parts and service are cheaper, too. At least that's what I'm told by owners and Ford service managers I know. Gonkis
What about the Mustang?
Furd
What about the Mustang? The Mustang is your stereotypical US "sports car." (Its actually a pony/muscle car). Unrefined. Fast in a straight line. Godawful on a track. It has a terrible suspension - its like driving a hammock on wheels.

He has a 1972 454.....pretty tricked out. 40K miles original as he bought it new. Got some stories riding w/ him in it.

It had a very limited production.
