Savage Beatings
Denver will beat Miami. Book it. 970179 Booked. and I agree. 970189 Nope... I disagree. Denver's Defense is about as bad as Miami's Offense. This one is still up in the air. The only lock I see is St. Louis over San Fran. They still have Champ Bailey. And John Lynch. Rookie Darrent Williams looks solid. And you're comparing them to an offense led by a rookie and Gus Frerotte? Surely you jest. Sorry, but no way. I think this will be closer than comfort allows for many people in the Sportsbook. And don't call me Shirley.
Skilly
I don't think this is a lock. Denver starts on the road, in the heat and humidity of Miami. All it would take would be a couple fumbles or an ill-timed Plummer interception and Miami could win this game. Champ hasn't played all preseason (hammy) and Frerotte has looked pretty good pairing up with Chambers and Boston. If I were a betting man, I would stay far away from this one. admtahoe
Eagles over the Falcons. 31-6. 970227 You can only believe this is you're a Eagles fan. The Falcons always play tough against the Eagles. Yes I see Mcnabb Hitting owens for a couple of strikes, but Vick is no slouch. If this game were going to be such a blow out then why is the spread only 1.5 here at the casinos? The people who figure spreads are not usually that far off. I do think Philly is a better team, but the Falcons do well against them, and you are completely discrediting the Falcons Defense. I was going to bet on this game and decided to take the over, as both teams will score.
