what time tonight? I might be in if we start around 10:00 or so EST (my wife and I are going to a dinner before that)--I have the norman (but I probably won't be able to get the other one)

Doubtful I will make it as I have to work tonight and don't think I'll be able to get the wines.

7pm is early for me....I'll be home, but probably cooking dinner at the time.  I'll pick up those wines though and jump into the conversation while cooking.

I could do it later than 10:00 if needed, just probably not earlier

  • 3 weeks later...

I opened up a fantastic bottle the other night: Davide Moschioni 's Schiopettino. It's a lesser known Italian wine made from Ribolla Nera, and man it was fantastic! I bought a number of high end bottles from my former place of work and this was the first I opened.

Info

Edit to add: On a side note, I brought back a bottle of Chartreuse from my last trip to france. It's a digestif that I've taken a liking to, definately an acquired taste!

That's near Grenoble, right? (I've had some of that--and a taste for it can definitely be acquired.) :D
