justin
Alright - I'll take the jabs (if anyone actually cares to give them). The Ravens are done (along w/ 20 other teams) and aside from not making the playoffs (as if that's painfull enough), the season is over. and there are no more weekly games. Seventeen weeks was true heaven. It hit me pretty hard this evening as I was driving home and I realized that there is no Ravens game tomorrow or Monday. I honestly wish that they could play every weekend. Why take Feb - Aug off!? What am I going to do on Sunday? Sure, I can watch a few playoff games over the next few weeks, but really, I miss it already. Thank goodness for football. God bless. I'll shed a few tears tonight. Puddy
Football season cannot last forever. Cheer up young grasshopper. It is the absence of football that makes us love it so much during the season. Chin up and Oprah Kyle Boller
msaint
This is why God invented playoff fantasy football. Helps keeps you interested when your team is out of it.
MojoMan
I suggest you take off your diapers and get used to it. The NFL season ends every year...this isn't the first time it's happened. Like Puddy said, you wouldn't appreciate it if it ran year round.
TimC
Find other interests..try new things. Like letting Boller be on top for a change.
Czarina
You wouldn't appreciate it as much if there wasn't the break to make you miss it. Time to get a hobby. Or better yet, join a dynasty league.
Runner
I'm surprised that you could actually miss watching the RAVENS play. You must have a sheltered life.
Guggs
With dynasty leagues, it does make the offseason a little more fun and interesting.
Menudo
Get used to it, with the Bengals and Steelers in the North, the Ravens aren't going to see the playoffs for a long, long time.
Czarina
Absolutely. In a dynasty league, you have trading all year long, the NFL draft to look forward to, and also your own league's rookie draft. And if you make the move to IDP, then you have a whole new set of players to learn about.
NSab
As long as the playoffs are on, I am OK. After the Super Bowl I go into withdraw.
Chargerz
Take it from the doctor: The prescription for your illness is called SMACK BOWL!!! Then extended therapy includes the NFL draft, minicamp, training camp, and the preseason games.
