Fantasy Jesus
I hope Kuechenberg makes it. Played every position on the Oline. He had consecutive starting streaks of 53, 42 and 49 games. Also went to 6 pro bowls.

darin3
Troy Aikman, qb, 1989-2000, Dallas -- Although I think he may have been simply a product of "right place, right time", he deserves to go. Harry Carson, lb, 1976-88, New York Giants -- Honestly don't know enough about the guy. L.C. Greenwood, de, 1969-81, Pittsburgh -- For some reason, the Steelers were my first "favorite team". This guy was a beast. Don't know enough about his stats to say yea or nay, though. Russ Grimm, g, 1981-91, Washington -- Seems like this guy played longer than just 10 years. Does he deserve to go? Ask John Riggins. Claude Humphrey, de, 1968-78, Atlanta; 1979-81, Philadelphia -- No clue. Michael Irvin, wr, 1988-99, Dallas -- Honestly, due to his drug issues, I think the guy should be held out of the Hall... not permanently, but surely this time, even if his buddy Aikman is going in this year. Bob Kuechenberg, g, 1970-84, Miami -- No clue. John Madden, coach, 1969-78, Oakland -- Was he really that good of a coach? Haven't read up on his accomplishments enough. Art Monk, wr, Washington 1980-93; New York Jets, 1994; Philadelphia, 1995 -- I don't see how this guy gets omitted, personally. Quality guy, incredibly good hands. Warren Moon, qb, 1984-93, Houston; 1994-96, Minnesota; 1997-98, Seattle; 1999-2000, Kansas City -- Absolutely. Derrick Thomas, lb, 1989-99, Kansas City -- Can't believe he played for 10 years. Right up until his final day, the guy was a beast. Will never forget a Sunday Night game where the sky had literally opened up and turned the ground into a literal mud pile. Thomas was all over the place. They had a sound bite of him going "oooh, man, this is football" (or something like that) that the NFL used for promos. He's gotta get in. Thurman Thomas, rb, 1988-99, Buffalo. Miami, 2000. -- Stats alone, the guy goes. But was he a product of a system? Reggie White, dl, 1985-92, Philadelphia; 1993-98, Green Bay; 2000, Carolina -- Absolutely. Rayfield Wright, ot, 1967-79, Dallas -- No clue. Gary Zimmerman, ot, 1986-92, Minnesota; 1993-97, Denver -- Shoot, I dunno.

skylive5
John Madden, coach, 1969-78, Oakland -- Was he really that good of a coach? Haven't read up on his accomplishments enough. 1260320[/snapback] 10 years as head coach of the Oakland Raiders from 1969 to 1978 Guided Raiders to victory in Super Bowl XI Overall regular season record of 103-32-7 "Prior to joining the broadcasting ranks, Madden had an outstanding career as head coach of the NFL's Oakland Raiders. He guided the Raiders to an overall record of 103-32-7, leading the team to seven AFC Western Division titles and a victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl XI. His winning percentage (.750) is the best of any head coach in NFL history." The guy belongs believe me.
Pope Flick
These 6 should make it before anyone else: Art Monk Art Monk Art Monk Art Monk Art Monk Art Monk Madden is a strong possibility as well. He holds one of those 'stat book' records: he is one of 3 or 4 coaches to win ten regular season games in his first ten years. Shula and Ditka being 2 others, and Ditka had the 16 game schedule advantage....

That was a painful game for Chiefs fans and kept them from getting MNF gigs the next year, but I hate shannon sharpe more than most and was getting a big kick out of DT ripping him to the ground by his facemask every play and then pounding him on the back of the head. Sharpe musta really struck a nerve with his smack talk that day, the game was well out of reach so I guess DT figured he'd beat on the Rosie O'Donnell while he had the chance. I'll never forget shannon whining after every play, like the ref didn't see it
Perchoutofwater
It's tough to just pick 6 out of that group. My picks in order of how strongly I feel about it: 1. Monk 2. White 3. Madden 4. Aikman 5. Greenwood 6. Grimm

Actually surprised Derrick Thomas, John Madden, and Harry Carson aren't in already. L.C. Greenwood, de, 1969-81, PittsburghRuss Grimm, g, 1981-91, Washington. These two I'll have to look at, but I sense they are borderline.
