Sugar Magnolia
okay showing my age here:Â The Who The Byrds Greatful Dead (like 10 X at least) Neil Young (about 4 X) Eric Clapton Aerosmith Jackson Browne Doobie Brothers Springsteen (after his first alibum) Yes CSN Stephen Stills-solo Bonnie Rait Pink Floyd REO Speedwagon Billy Joel/Elton John (don't own an album of their's but best concert ever--they are touring again) Â Forgot to add REM and Arlo Guthrie. Â Disappointed in REM--thought they just went through the motions. At the Greek Theater in Berkeley so a great venue for a great show--too bad. Don't think I've seen REM on other lists here. Chief Dick
Loverboy  I saw them too years ago.  Of course, it was for a chick, and I double dated with a buddy and another girl. It was about 14 degrees that day, so my idiot friend goes out and washes his car right before we picked up the girls. Anyway, we come out of the show and the car is in BFE.  He tries to open the door, and all the locks, the doors, trunk, EVERYTHING is frozen. Took us about an hour to get into that somebitch. And once we did, we couldn't get the passenger door CLOSED because of the ice. He drove home while I rode in the passenger seat holding the door the whole way.  Needless to say, we didn't get any action. Ah, good times..... SEC=UGA
Lollapaloozas 1-3 STP Jane's Addiction AIC Pearl Jam Radiohead Pumpkins Steve Miller Bad Company Van Halen - 1984 First Concert Poison GNR DMB Hank Williams Jr. Willie Nelson John Prine Jack Johnson 311 Grateful Dead Paul Simon Neil Diamond Had Tickets to Elton John, but missed it, still pissed Live WSP Sound Garden White Zombie  I think that is all.  ETA - The Outfield  Oh, yeah, and I forgot Mathew Sweet, where I got so drunk I told my buddy's future wife and her friend that they were a bunch of uptight bitches, managed to pass out in their car and have them pull over once for me to throw up. Also, almost got thrown outta chastain park, where the concert was, for standing in my seat and dancing and telling all those who told me to sit down to when I wore my first dress off... god that was a great period of time in my life... BeeR
Some of these were actually opening acts but I think worth mentioning. Bet you can't tell I grew up in the 70s  CSN Yes Charlie Daniels REO Speedwagon America Steely Dan Boston Marshall Tucker ARS Frampton Little RIver Band Linda Ronstadt (twice) James Taylor JImmy Buffet SRV Huey Lewis Eric Johnson Little Feat (twice) Daryl Hall Red Hot Chili Peppers  Stanley Jordan Pat Metheny Spyrogyra (twice) Weather Report Sarah Vaughn  Best I'd say SRV, CSN, Stanley Jordan. Worst was Chilii Peppers but Weather Report and Boston were up there, believe it or not. And LIttle Feat the 2d time. BeeR
Without, but they were outstanding ("Let it Roll" tour). The 2d one was just a few years ago and pathetic. Sorry but 1 hr per song is a BIT much and the solos were mostly highly underwhelming if not outright bad. Â Weather Report was around early/mid 80s, so pretty much the guys I think of when I think of them.
