dukdown
yep, I was wrong in my prediction. I'm really pretty dumbfounded at some of these reviews. Like, were we watching the same show? I really don't get it.
TimC
I can't believe anyone really watches this stuff.... Then again I don't understand the popularity of american idol either. : 1353570 I don't watch this crap either. If I wanted to see a circlejerk patting each other on the backside telling each other what a wonderful job they did, I would've gone to see a Skins game...and that's just the tailgating in the parking lot. Vote Quimby2
Kind of a down year for movies. John Stewart did a good job. What was with the orchestra playing the minute a person got up there to speak. Oh, and Selma Hayek is still hot.
Seattle LawDawg
I didn't know you could wear jeans either. If he does get invited back, I think he should go denim.

Ursa Majoris
I came to work in my Versace tuxedo and a million dollar worth of borrowed jewelry. I really hope to win Accountant of the Year from my co-workers this time. 1353533 Apparently I've been nominated for IT Manager of the year. I'm looking forward to accepting the gold statuette and crying as I give all the credit to my co-workers, etc, etc, etc. Then again, I may not be able to attend and I'll just have to send my fridge instead, like David Niven. I don't watch this crap either. Guest Cherni
pure garbage. 1353713 Yup, as well as every other reality show on TV. When will the masses stop watching this crap? I'm sorry, The Biggest Loser, Skating with Celebrities, Dancing with Celebs, Survivor, etc. If people stopped watching maybe they would have to put shows on TV that have bonafide writers and legit actors. Please people, stop the madness!!!

dukdown
USA Today, the bastion of all that is good and right in America, gave this review - "When the movies are small, Oscar's host has to be huge - and Jon Stewart came through big time." Ebert and Roeper gave him two thumbs, way up. Hey, when USA Today and Ebert & Roeper agree with me, I feel I'm on the right side of the ledger. I can sleep sound tonight.
