Czarina
With the Colts? ETA: I was told that Michael Holly called in to WEEI sports radio and reported it. I have yet to find confirmation. I think I just threw up a little. Edited March 21, 2006 by Czarina

Czarina
You know, I can take him leaving the Pats, because I know he wants the big contract...but the Colts? That's a knife in the back, right there.

CaptainHook
My friends and I have discussed it. We think it would be hilarious to see Vandy head over to the Pats. Until we had to watch him kick a FG to beat the Colts. :doah: Edited March 21, 2006 by CaptainHook
CaptainHook
local news says that the radio reports in Boston that he has already signed may be a bit premature, but things are developing. . . And I wouldn't worry about Belichick giving this over-priced choke a spot on his roster.

Vinatieri Is God
I gotta fly out the door. Will revisit this later tonight. Much to be said (although there is no links anywhere so no way it's a done deal yet.
Swashbucklers
The Patriots kicking game won't miss a beat this year. I heard that Bruschi is taking over the kicking duties.

Czarina
From Reiss' Pieces blog at boston.com. He's generally a very reliable source. Eyes on AdamSports radio 850 WEEI in Boston reported that kicker Adam Vinatieri has reached an agreement in principle to join the Indianapolis Colts. ESPN has confirmed the agreement in principle. Also, receiver Tim Dwight has agreed to a four-year deal with the Jets. The deal includes a $750,000 signing bonus.
