HowboutthemCowboys
I won last week with him on my bench but mainly because Warner went nuts.I know,Iknow,I'd rather he takes a few weeks off to fully heal than rush back and miss more time but I'm getting a little nervous.Any Panther followers have any idea when he'll give it a go in practice??? Rovers
Me. I took Portis in round one (before the injury) and Smith in round two. Not easy to win with yer first two picks picking their noses.
PantherDave
I don't believe he'll play this week, he did not practice again today. It will most likely be another GTD with the edge going to the Bench once again. Edited September 15, 2006 by PantherDave

Venus
In the only league that I have him in (the big $$ one), I used Joe Jurevicius as an injury replacement. My other starting WR's were Javon Walker and Roy Williams. I also had Michael Jenkins, Doug Gabriel, and Marques Colston to rotate in for Smith. Oh, and I have Delhomme. Luckily Ronnie Brown and Frank Gore gave me a W. But some idiot dropped Deion Branch right before he got trasde and I snatched him up. URLACHERisGOD
Not me. I picked Fitz and CJ over him in every league I'm in for a reason.

URLACHERisGOD
got Fitz too, but what is that reason??? Nothing more of the "Stay away from Steve Smith" gut feeling I had at the beginning of the season. Not much of a reason (I realize this) but, so far so good. Randall
I am glad we had our one draft 3 days before the first game. I was staying away from Smith though. Even the earlier hamstring problem worried me. Took Boldin instead 2.11. Edited September 15, 2006 by Randall
Ruffian
Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater just yet. This is Steve Smith we're talking about--he is as dangerous a player as they come. I'd say one or two weeks out isn't cause for a fire sale. CD6405
Hey hey, let's wait a second. Just because Steve Smith is wearing Rae Carruth's old number doesn't mean he is killing people.
