GameOn!
Is Dillon out ...is he too having his spleen removed? I thought Dillon was a #1 starter. What did I miss ??

Menudo
Week 1 and Week 2? I had to decide between Dillon or Maroney as my RB2 this week. I went with Maroney, because Dillon was banged up at the end of last week, and I don't trust BB. Dillon came out to start the game, but, hasn't been in since. It looks like I might have made the right decision, but, thus far, neither of them is producing too much.

Pitbull739
Maroney's little 31 yard catch just gave me the win. Nothing like a FF win to salvage an otherwise miserable football weekend (PSU & Steelers )
efranklin
Any word on Dillon's status??? I am a Maroney owner and I am going up against one of the top teams in my league next week and it would be sweet for me if Maroney gets the whole load next week against cincy. Ron Burgundy
I am a Maroney owner and Pats homer. After watching last night's game, I came to one conclusion - Maroney doesn't look ready to carry the whole workload. Maroney = Tatum Bell, Dillon = Mike Anderson. That's what it looks like to me. Broncos run defense looked good, but, make no mistake, Laurence Maroney is a STUD in the making.
thecerwin
I think this was the first game that the Broncos decided to play defense against the run.

I have been making similar points since the start of TC. Dillon will be 'the guy' in NE this year barring injury. Look out for Maroney to be big next year. Ron Burgundy
Care to share what it is that you saw that made you come to that conclusion? Why certainly. First off, I don't want to take any credit away from the Denver Def. It's entirely possible that is was ALL them and not the Pats O Line or Maroney. But in my opinion, getting the tough yards looked to be more difficult for Maroney. His burst, which was evident in the 1st few games, wasn't there except for the one 31yd pass completion. I realize he didn't have a lot of running room, but sometimes you have to create your own. He obviously looks explosive in open space - but my concern is what happens when you need to grind out 2 and 3 yards, play after play against a good def. Maybe he'll be fine, but I couldn't help but be concerned about the lack of running game against a def that had given up over 100 yds to both of the backs they faced in the 1st game. Vet
His burst, which was evident in the 1st few games... If it was evident in the first few games, what makes you think he doesn't have it anymore?

Fantasy Jesus
With Dillon out and Maroney getting the ball so often why did they have him returning kicks too?

I always base my opinions on nothing. Or, you could use the search function and dig up the many discussions on the subject. Either way, I don't really care. Ron Burgundy
If it was evident in the first few games, what makes you think he doesn't have it anymore? I said it wasn't there last night, which happend to be the 1st night he didn't have Dillon to spell him. I'm theorizing that maybe w/o Dillon to spell him, the "burst" may not be as significant. I don't think he LOST it permanently. Anything else, Vet? Is my grammar OK? I get that you may not agree with my opinion, but that's what it is... an opinion.
