Grits and Shins Posted January 1, 2007 Share Posted January 1, 2007 Caveman Nick held or shared the lead for 15 out of the 17 weeks this year including the last 14 weeks running. Unfortunately he started the season very strong and tailed off at the end. Over the last 5 weeks he could only manage 11 out of 25, yet held or shared the lead on the strength of his early season run. Interestingly enough Caveman never scored a perfect week. Seven times he scored 4, seven times he scored 2 and 3 times he scored 3. Never scored on the extreme (0 or 5). tbimm scored 17 out of 25 over the last 5 weeks to finally catch Caveman Nick in the last week and then defeat him on tie-breakers (picking the rest of the games against the line). Slayer made a great run over the same 5 weeks scoring 19 out of 25, but came up 1 game short. Had Slayer managed to find one more game over those 5 weeks he would have won the three-way tie on the FIFTH tie-breaker (most weeks scoring 4 out of 5). GoTs scored 14 out of 25 over the last 5 weeks and also finished 1 game short. All four had a great season but in the end we owe our congratuations to tbimm as the victor!
