Todd1
The first league I was in was a keeper league and I kept Marshall Faulk. That was '98 when Kordell Stewart was coming off a 32 TD season and predicted to be God's gift to FF. I knew he wasn't going to repeat, so I traded the #1 overall pick for a 1st and 3rd. I think I got Bettis at #3, but Stephen Davis ended up being the steal of the draft.
DO Jaded
Back in 1993, I had the 7th pick in my first ever FFL draft. I had my cheatsheet in hand and boldly said, "I'll take this Fav-ray guy." Well, that's how it's spelled.

DocNiner52
It was in 1988. Can't remember if it was Eric Dickerson or Jim Everett but I know I drafted a Los Angeles Rams player.
Skrappy1
Curtis Martin in 1996, in a TD heavy league, and he led me to the title. I don't remember the whole team, but I know that Mark Brunell was my QB, Adrian Murrell was my #2 RB , Michael Irvin and Joey Galloway were my WRs (kick and punt return scores and yardage counted for WRs), Ben Coates was my TE, and Al DelGreco was my K. Edited b/c I remembered that Irvin was my other WR. I guess I do remember the whole team except defense. I also remember that Lake Dawson was one of my reserve WRs for a little while. For the life of me I don't remember why though. Edited February 4, 2007 by Skrappy1
Big John
It was in 1988. Can't remember if it was Eric Dickerson or Jim Everett but I know I drafted a Los Angeles Rams player. Everett, as Dickerson was traded to the Colts in 1987.

Vet
It was 1985. I picked Joe Theismann. The next player picked was Joe Montana. To make it worse, this was (is) a dynasty league, so that decision haunted me for a decade. The guy who picked behind me still thanks me to this day, and he often tries to maneuver in the draft so that he picks right after me.
