ask Twiley or Cunning Linguist. As an advertiser, you look for a concept that has "legs". The Dude spots can keep creating new scenarios for a long time.

Yeah, it's a pretty good concept. I actually added it to my sigline about 3 weeks ago because I liked it so much.

dude ...

 

While I find many of them entertaining (including the ref sacking the QB), I would still never drink the rat piss they're promoting. Entertaining, yes. Effective? Not for me. A decent product would do wonders but I guess they wouldn't need to be so clever in their advertising then.

I must say, I am a hugh fan of the Coors Light commercials where they are asking questions of the coaches in post game interviews...:D

+1. I've seen the "dude" commercials, and liked them. But I couldn't tell you what beer it was advertising.
