piratesownninjas
Easy win...no Favre, no ice, no problem. KO'd good insight here... I guess Favre took the defense, running game and receivers with him... I'm not saying Green Bay will win, but to say Dallas will have an easy win is a joke. Bronco Billy
Easy win...no Favre, no ice, no problem. KO'd You must have missed Rodgers almost undoing the mess Favre created in DAL last season, hanging 200 yds & a TD on them in a relief role and leading the Packers on repeated long sustained drives. You see this all the time, in all levels of football, particularly when a pocket passer gets knocked out of the game, and a more mobile QB comes in to replace him. It has to do with the game plan. Your game plan is different with different QB's in the game.

Rodgers looked more like the real QB that day because he stayed within the system. I think BB was referring to this. We'll see come september. Should be a good game. Too bad it wasn't in december on MNF.

The last game of the year should decide the division for someone.

whomper
Dallas always has trouble on the road against the Skins and Eagles. They will probably split with the Giants . Pitt is never easy on the road. GB isnt as dominant at Lambeau as they used to be but the game certainly will be tough. I think Dallas can pull that game out. I think Dallas loses 4 regular season games. Week 1 vs Cleveland will not be as easy as some might think. That passing game is scary and we arent exactly formidable in the secondary. I assume Pacman would come in handy early if Dallas does get him and he avoids murdering someone before that game Edited April 16, 2008 by whomper

Nope - didn't miss that at all. Pearchoutofwater said it best though...when you have game planned for a specific qb style (pocket passer in Favre for the most part) and then a more mobile Rogers comes in....Rogers did well in relief no doubt, but I just sense a bit of a struggle for him early in the season...and playing in GB in Sept just doesn't put the fear of God in me like it would in December. It's all good - we can agree to disagree...wait a minute....I don't agree to that!! KO'f
