East Coast Huddle Gathering

Caveman Nick and myself have been throwing around the idea of getting the East Coast :gangsign: huddler's together for a night out this summer. We were thinking about maybe heading up to Foxwoods Casino for an evening of drinking and gambling and general debauchery. We would probably do this some time in June. If you have any interest, please post here and I'll PM you the details.

I may have to conveniently schedule a trip to Providence or Hartford to visit our hotels there...a short 40 mintues from foxwoods :D

keep me posted with a date...and let me know if the wives are invited (or if peepin's wife is going).

 I see this as important info in case we have some trouble getting rooms

I'd be interested in this. I was planning on making my first trip to WCOFF this year, but, my project's implementation is during that time, so, I can't get off work. Please let me know the plan (wives or not), and I'm going to do my best to get there.

Crap

I could talk the wife into AC but Foxwoods may be a stretch.

For what it's worth, I plan to do everything in my power to make the Foxwoods trip, but, Atlantic City would be much easier for me as well ::D

Just exactly where is this Foxwoods that you speak of? I know where AC is and getting there would not be such a hugh deal but I don't have a clue where Foxwoods is.

edit to add:

I looked it up and it seems like it would be too far for me to make a swing in there for a weekend. :D

There's already at least one flight booked. Foxwoods is the destination gents :D

Plus we have some New England Huddler's that are in the same predicament as you NJ/PA Huddlers, where Foxwoods works for them but AC is too far. Maybe we can plan an AC weekend later in the year.

....works for me...a little further, but the facility is amazing. May have to sell the wifey on an overnight in Mystic (about a half-hour south), unless there is a show she wants to see at Foxwoods.

Nick, let em know if you need help with the overnights. There are plenty of hotels just outside the Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun that would be significantly less than staying at the casinos themselves for those that might be looking to save a buck or two. Norwich, which is 15-20 minutes from the casino, might be the best bet ($150-225 versus $325+ at the casinos).

I am not trying to alter the plans. I was just sort of thinking out loud. And no matter where you pick, people are close but many are too far.

Of course. I just wanted to let people know that it was somewhat cemented already

I'm all for going to AC another time. Probably a 7 hour ride, but I am up for it :D

I will, and appreciate it. I am waiting to get a solid head count from H1 before I do too much poking about rooms. If all the maybes get back to him by Tuesday I can get to seeing about reservations and all that.

The rooms at Foxwoods are expensive, so I am sure some folks might want to investigate alternatives.
