Have you done a tournament where it's free to you, but they actually give away money to the winner? many of us play online. I have played many freerolls. If you can survive the shovefest that 60% of those that play those do in the first 30 minutes, then you have a semi-decent chance of building up a big enough stack to take down the $5 for beating 2000 players. But, free money and tourney practice is better than not playing at all. ETA: Not available tomorrow night. jaxfactor Posted July 6, 2008 Share Posted July 6, 2008 I just installed the game, tried a few hands against AI. Not a fan of the interface, but I'll live. I tried to join an online game, but none were listed. I need to make sure my wife will take care of our son so I don't have to interrupt the game. Tho 4-5 beers is only like an hour, so that should be fine. You have XP or Vista? The reason I ask is if you have Vista, the software doesn't act right. For instance, I have Vista and can't see anyone else's stack count.But the guys are good about telling how much they have when I ask. Now when I had XP on my old PC, everything worked great. Even playing against Al, it still won't show the other players' stacks with Vista. Weird, but I can deal with it. Oh, I'l be around tonight.
