budlitebrad
Per Seahawks' thread, we all need to start getting pumped for the '08 season. Even though it'll be mostly backups playing, it's always good to see football back on TV. The downside is that Madden will no doubt bring up a certain QB ad nauseum. Gros Membres!
Nice pass by Campbell to Randle-El in the corner. Quick drive: Pass to Cooley. Big run off the right side by Cartwright. Strike to Randle-El for the TD. And BRETT FAVRE IS IN GREEN BAY! Edit to add: Its good to be back watching and talking some football. Edited August 4, 2008 by Gros Membres! Gros Membres!
There must've been 100+ fans at the airport. Odds on if he'll be interviewed when he gets out of the plane?
budlitebrad
Odds on if he'll be interviewed when he gets out of the plane? According to the up to the minute Favre watch on GB Press-Gazette's website, he already left the airport.
Riffraff
Addai with the head injury on the first drive. May not play anymore today, appears fine though.
Big John
Odds on if he'll be interviewed when he gets out of the plane? An airport is a secure zone, so he can be whisked away without the media in his face when he leaves the plane.
Pitbull739
This is the best game I have seen all year.
Gros Membres!
Also, that undrafted defensive lineman out of Rutgers. Anyone know his name? Garcon also jumped out at me. And Campbell was 5/5 for 61 yards and a TD. I thought his throws and timing looked good.
Bronco Billy
There must've been 100+ fans at the airport. They get more than that to shovel snow out of the stands before home games.
Bronco Billy
Garcon also jumped out at me. Garcon was a man among boys playing at Mount Union in Div III ball. He's got a long ways to go to get to pro level WR, but he has the tools & the confidence. He's well worth keeping on your radar (I've rostered him in 3 dynasty leagues). Brentastic
This game gets me excited for the real deal!!! Man, does Sorgi have the greatest gig in the world or what? I'm sure he'd love to be playing - but it doesn't get much easier than backing up Manning. With Manning out due to surgery/recovery he doesn't even get any pre-season action because he needs to be preserved 'just in case'. Does the guy even get to sweat on a regular basis? abishagenaden
I don't know which string defense was on the field, but Mike Hart did acquit himself well on his runs. He also did look really tiny however...
Gros Membres!
He popped off three 10+ yard runs in a row but that's a crowded backfield: Addai, Rhodes, Keith, and Hart.
Gros Membres!
Colt Brennan looking like he'll make the team and possibly challenge for the backup (2 TDs and at least three beautiful passes)

dirtdickens
Garcon was a man among boys playing at Mount Union in Div III ball. He's got a long ways to go to get to pro level WR, but he has the tools & the confidence. He's well worth keeping on your radar (I've rostered him in 3 dynasty leagues). I played defensive end in the same league as Garcon. He was an absolute beast, I never really understood how he ended up at Mount. He had offers from Miami, USF and a host of other big schools down South. Some said grades were an issue, but I have no idea. He is the opposite of what I would call a Dungy guy, a complete El Guapo if you ask me. On the topic of Mount, my freshman year they had a tackle that was a top5 player in the country, Larry Kenard, he signed with tOSU but was a prop 48. Never has the term man among boys been so accurate.
Bill Swerski
They had footage of the plane landign I'm not sure what was more annoying, that or the camera being constantly fixed on Jason Taylor. I realize that NBC and the NFL are trying to attract more female viewers, but GMAFB.
