Fast forward to today ... we got a check for almost $9000! check your OGML, what's your royalty in this deal? 1/4 would be great, hopefully they didn't try to get you to sign a lease for a 1/6 or God forbid 1/8!! I lease oil and gas properties with my husband, couple of yrs ago, people were signing 1/6 leases, now they want a min of 3/16 for the most part.....some have successfully negotiated a 1/4 lease....course this varies by region

fingfootball
There are alot of farmers around here that have dug their own well, most didnt have to go over 200 feet. Now I dont know how they capped it or got it to work. Most of the guys I talked to said that if you had sulfer water that you have natural gas.
