muck
I suggested the name Isaac for our soon-to-be born son (due in early March) and that we call him Ike. My wife likes it ... and even though I suggested it, I'm not sure if I want to use it or not. Since I don't know anyone called Ike, I thought I'd through it out there to you. BTW, middle name would be "John". ...thoughts?

muck
Any wierd nicknames? Kike and Dyke were pretty much the only two lousy rhyming nicknames I could come up with.

BiggieFries
Any wierd nicknames? Kike and Dyke were pretty much the only two lousy rhyming nicknames I could come up with. I think "Muck's Kid" might have a lasting effect on the little tyke. I've always liked Alex, but then again, I'm biased.

muck
Mike and Ike? Neither of his older brothers are named Mike. None of his cousins are named Mike. :fingerscrossed:

whomper
I like Isaac but not thrilled about Ike. Can we call him Zeke ?
CaP'N GRuNGe
Well, they do say all babies look like Eisenhower. So Ike is appropriate I guess.
CaP'N GRuNGe
Also think of Isaac Hayes... Could nickname him Izzy?
Savage Beatings
Psych! I like the name... although for my generation there is a definite connection to South Park.
muck
Psych! I like the name... although for my generation there is a definite connection to South Park. Never watch the show...so, I didn't realize there was a link. Zeke is interesting. Izzy would probably be a non-starter for the wife... muck
Osama Obama Muhammed. That's our third choice behind "Isaac, call me Ike" and "Otto" (which my wife really doesn't like). Edited November 13, 2008 by muck

millerx
I like the name Issac. Go with: Issac Colton Seriously. Just hear me out. This way, if he starts to become a good QB later in life, you can switch over to using his middle name and shorten it to "COLT". Then he's a sure lock to be a stud college QB.
