A good bolt gun in .300 win mag and someone who can use it can keep those guys 300 yards away from a boat at all times. They use little boats, so you shoot the driver. Next guy takes over, shoot him. As I recall, several states have sent ships out there to patrol. It is just such a large area you can't be everywhere at once. You don't even need that. A good bolt gun in .300 win mag and someone who can use it can keep those guys 300 yards away from a boat at all times. They use little boats, so you shoot the driver. Next guy takes over, shoot him. Lather, rinse, repeat until they are all dead or no one will get behind the wheel until you're over the horizon. But with so much of the worlds merchant shipping having mixed national crews flying under various national flags, it looks to me to be one big cluster-f.... out there. Not sure if we are doing so, but we should sell the service of US Navy as an escort. $$ per nautical mile. The only 2 things the USA are good at is WAR and producing DRUGS.
