Some good vibes requested

Just got a call. She's out of surgery. The doc said it went well! Good bone to work with. She had a spinal block and a little IV sedation......so not the full blown General I was fearing. She should be in hospital until Friday......then 4 weeks of rehab at assisted living. Sounds long......but she needs to build her upper body strength. The hard part is keeping my FIL from going bonkers without her for a while......lol. :D

As a side note.....my Aunt Pat is two floors above her recovering from a broken arm.

Thanks everyone.....once again.....Huddler vibes and prayers to the rescue! :D

Here's too a speedy recovery for both! And some quality bachelor time for the FIL. :D

Well......just talked to Ginny (MIL). She's in good spirits it sounds like. Although she hasn't been able to walk too far on her new hip yet.

They are worried about her iron levels in her blood and may give her a transfusion before she leaves Friday for rehab.

But she's gotten her appetite back.....I think that's a great sign myself.

Aunt Pat went home yesterday.....poor thing. Sweet lady....dealing with a broken wing.

Thanks for all the prayers and vibes folks! :D

Just tuck a few more in your thoughts now and then......hopefully the rehab will go slow and steady, but well!
